My incredibly talented sister-in-law Liz just launched her photography website and you all need to check it out. Go to her blog for a chance to win a FREE photo session! She's a great photographer and has amazing taste. She will MAKE you look good, even if you really don't (JK), You're all beautiful :) She took Brecken's newborn pictures and my maternity pictures and I couldn't be happier with them. She won't be in Utah forever, so take advantage while you can! This is just another little sample of her work. Liz created the whole announcement. The gray strip is the same material as Brecken's bedding.
I PROMISE I have thank you notes complete with a baby announcement for those of you who have been wondering. They are sitting on my nightstand, mostly addressed and stamped. They've been sitting there for about 7 months. I'm awesome. You might get it before Brecken goes to college... if you're lucky. I have issues, but I REALLY appreciate all the baby gifts. I think about how lucky we are each time I use a gift (clothes, diapers, pacifiers, toys, books, etc.), which is multiple times daily. THANK YOU! I do realize that this does not count as a thank you note and I'll TRY to stick them in the mail this week. You can and should hold me to this!

Almost 7 months...Slow down!

More pictures of my favorite subject. She is already one animated little girl!

Poor little baldy, but she sports a 'mudflap' like a rockstar!.

The weather was a little crazy this week. We had snowy, sunny, rainy, cold, and warm weather. We decided to take advantage of the sun and snow and took Brecken on a little hike and a couple of bike rides on the days when the sun was shining. I was lucky enough to get to go skiing when it snowed with Des and Emily (even if it was during a short break from work).

Brecken with her cousin Capri (my FAVORITE sister's baby). Brecken is 7 months and Capri is 4. I'm so happy Brecken will have a little buddy to grow up with. Thanks for keeping your promise, Hollie!

You'd think we were torturing them!

That's better.

I took pictures of Brecken's bedding partly because I LOVE it and partly because Alison has never seen Brecken's room  and she's a big reason we finished the bedding before Brecken was born. I should've taken a close up picture of the name banner Liz made because it is super cute (coming soon on Etsy, I think?)! I didn't want to hang anything heavy above her crib so I'm still working on getting vinyl frames for the pictures (Happy Jo....I'll be calling you sometime). I would like to say I made her bedding, but I cannot tell a lie. It was a family affair and my mom, Alison and Liz made it happen. I picked out the material and sewed parts of it when they would say, "Brittany, come sew this part so you can say you made this." Thanks for trying guys. I am so happy with the way it turned out and it's probably a good thing I didn't sew too much of it.

My mom made this quilt for Brecken and I absolutely love it. It's much prettier in real life because I took all these pictures when Brecken was sleeping and the lights were off so
the colors look a little different.

The skirt
This is still her favorite position. She hasn't grown out of her upside down phase yet and will giggle and giggle if you hold her upside down by her feet. Her blue and green airplane jammies combined with her bald head made a bow a necessity. And no, I don't make her wear a bow to sleep :)
