EEEEEEEeeeeeeWWWWwww!!!!

JP left for Newport yesterday morning and I have been all by my lonesome self. Actually I've kept pretty busy, so it's been ok. Che and Bode woke me up several times last night, probably because they miss JP. When I woke up this morning, Bode began barking at me and then nodded his head toward the door. He then sat in front on my keys and stared at them. I promised to take him on a bike ride when I got home from school. I didn't know what I was getting myself into.... So, Shelby came with me and we took Che and Bode to get some exercise. A little while later we stopped to look for the dogs and heard a strange noise followed by the most putrid smell ever!!! SKUNK!!! After a little while Shelby and I grew accustomed to the smell and started wondering if the dogs had actually been sprayed after all. Che started rubbing his stinky body into the dirt to get rid of the smell and slid head first down the mountain. It was cute and funny. I wish I had a camera, but JP took that AND the laptop. There was a wedding reception at the bottom of the ride...and food. Bode ran right up to them and we could tell by their reactions that the dogs had indeed been sprayed. Now I stink, my dogs stink, and my car stinks, and I have no husband to do the dirty work for me. He suggested tomatoe soup and baking soda. Any other great ideas?

Team Iron Myelin

We kicked some serious myelin on this 75 mile
race through sometimes scenic Cache County. Vicki, Brit,
Steven, Liz, JP, and Justin were quite the team. Sadly, this
is the only picture of the team and it was taken using a
cell phone.
